French Breakfast @ The Hardware Societe

Let us start with one of the best on the list.

This one definitely belongs to the Crème De La Crème list.
If you are going into the CBD for breakfast, this is the place to be.
And if you are in doubt and not sure what to order I have 2 tricks for you ...

First is to look around and see if there is another that looks really good or you really feel like having on that day.
Second, for this place particularly, just listen to the waiter and go for the
Special of the Day.

I went for the 2 specials and I was utterly satisfied.
The menu was a little too confusing for me.

The egg is just so perfectly done ...
French Toast can never go wrong in a French restaurant ...
This one is like the best in the world.

 Coffee nicely done.
Long black was perfect with a little bit of hot mild on the side.
 Great place to be.
Waiters and waitresses were nice and friendly.
One extra tip.
If you don't want to be disappointed, be there early.
Be mentally prepared to face this long queue cause it just gets longer and longer.
The queue is the waiting part.
Once they get you seated, food will be on the way, as they are pretty efficient.
At the end of the meal, you will have a very satisfied burp and agree that it is all worth your while standing in line.

Why The Asian Palate ...

Year 2015 brings bundles of excitement and adventure to the new kid on the block.
Why The Asian Palate ???
Because the Asian Palate is a little bit different ... they prefer food, hmmm ...
spicier, less sweet, more pungent, less dairy,
not the regular sweet and sour pork fan, more of a curry laksa person ...

If you are Malaysian, I hope you will be able to relate with my experiences here,
because I am as typical as a Malaysian can be.
If you are not, I hope this can be some form of entertainment to you ;-)
and who knows one day ...
we may have similar taste buds, having the same food preferences !

Will be looking out mainly for various yummy places in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, occasionally venturing into the city, the north and the east.
Will be my pleasure sharing with you The Good and also The Not So Good dining experiences.

A Malaysian new to the city, here to explore this wonderful city, which has so much to offer.
Just starting this blog makes me excited.
I am here to look for the
Creme De La Creme
and also the
Da Best of Da West
To experience the wine and the dine ...
To soak in this multicultural pot ...
Melbourne ...
 The People ...
 The Wine ...

 The Coffee ...
The Food ...

and finally ...  with the Hope that ...

let the adventure begin ...
